MercyMe is no stranger to hard work. The band has poured out an album on nearly a yearly basis while stuffing in nationwide tours in between.

All that is Within Me stands as a tribute to the church, one filled with the usual worship and uplifting sound we’ve come to expect from MercyMe. “God with Us” was designated as the top single off the album and it reaches expectations of what the band is capable of. The song considers why God would bother paying attention to us and includes a positive sound. “Time has Come” and “I Know” further are triumph themed inspired and add to MercyMe’s general sound.
All that is Within Me is just that, what you internally expect from MercyMe. It’s a quality album with plenty of catchy jingles but nothing amazing or drastically different from their past work. If you appreciate MercyMe and their music, the album will not disappoint. If you were expecting something above and beyond their past work, you will be slightly frustrated.
