Music Album: Remedy - David Crowder Band

Artist: David Crowder Band
Album Title:  Remedy
Original Release Date: September 25, 2007
Label: Six Step Records

The David Crowder Band is generally highly acclaimed or bashed for this unique and stylistic electronic sound. Some embrace and love the music while others cite it as faulty and formulistic. Remedy, the newest studio release from the David Crowder Band falls somewhere in between.

Can You Feel it,” tends to remind those of the typical alternative rock meets dance/pop. “Everything Glorious” is another typical and formulaic track on the album. However, the album is still full of creativity thanks to Crowder’s ability to successful mix and match genres – many of which will make their way all on the same track. Crowder also continues to make some rousing anthems despite skepticism from some.

David Crowder and his band provide a nice worship album with a broad range of sounds and genre. That’s not a disappointment at all. The only major reason to knock this album is that other than the fusion of genres, it’s your typical worship/alternative rock album.
